About PPCC

Planned Parenthood of Chester County believes in the fundamental right of each individual to manage his or her fertility. Based on this belief, and reflecting the diverse communities within which we operate, PPCC:

  • provides comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual
  • advocates public policies which guarantee these rights and ensure access to such services
  • and provides educational programs which enhance understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality.

Our History

A dedicated group of volunteers founded PPCC in 1967. Since then, we have grown from a small clinic in West Chester serving a few hundred clients to four Health Centers across Chester County providing more than 10,000 clients with medical care each year.

PPCC has worked continuously to provide family planning services, quality reproductive health care, and sexuality education to the Chester County community. Unique to our area, we are one of only two federally-funded family planning providers in our county and the only one providing care to all individuals who seek it, regardless of their ability to pay.

Our Services

  • High-quality, affordable health care.
  • Local and national advocacy around women’s health and well being.
  • Accurate, honest sexuality education.
